Visited the King Fahd Causeway in November 2023 during our journey to Saudi Arabia from Bahrain.

Crossing the border can be challenging due to wait times at immigration and security checkpoints, so consider planning your trip during off-peak hours.

I highly recommend this destination to Bahrain residents. It transcends being just a bridge; it offers a captivating experience. The drive is truly enchanting, especially in the evening or morning with the sun casting golden hues. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of buildings on the Saudi side.

Be mindful of recently installed speed cameras that enforce indicated speed limits; drive responsibly.

Spanning 25 kilometers, the King Fahd Causeway connects Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Al Jasra, Bahrain. Officially inaugurated in November 1986, it comprises three magnificent bridges and an artificial island serving as a border. This US$800 million project features a four-lane road with two roadways.

'Middle Island,' the largest artificial island, is a noteworthy tourist attraction. It showcases a beautiful mosque, a small garden, and fast-food restaurants. The causeway, funded by Saudi Arabia, is operated by the King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA). Its strategic and tourist significance is evident, with consistent growth in passenger and cargo movement. On March 4, 2023, over 136,000 passengers traversed the causeway, underscoring its vital role in connecting Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Tree of Life
2023 Nov 14
Last Friday, my family and friends joined me in visiting the Tree of Life—a natural wonder in the Bahraini desert. No entry fee; just remember to bring water and make wishes on the tree. It's important to pick up your garbage to preserve this wonder. Optimal times for a visit are early morning or early evening to avoid the midday sun.

This location exudes mystical allure, believed to have been planted in 1583 CE, making it an impressive 440 years old! The site truly comes alive after dusk with captivating lighting.

Exercise caution to avoid driving into soft sand. The Tree of Life is an inspirational must-visit, surrounded by a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I genuinely adore this place; the sunset is truly breathtaking.

If I could, I'd give it 100 stars for this mesmerizing view. Facilities include ladies' and gents' toilets, a museum, prayer rooms, and a function stage. It's an experience that will undoubtedly stay with you!
My son studied until last term here.
I really appreciate the team behind this wonderfully setup school and their professionalism in managing the same.

They take care of the kids very well and the same time best treatment the parents get right from the supporting staff till the top.
it was unfortunate that I had no option than to move to another school in sharjah due to personal reasons.
My son will surely miss this wonderful school.

The teachers are well trained. As per my experience I am giving 10/10 for the overall experience I had from last 20 months.

I wish the management all the very best to keep up their good work.👍
