Conveniently located near Central Park entrance. A great monument to one of the country’s well known freedom fighters. Good place to take younger kids for a small educational trip/lesson and it’s kept very clean.

So beautiful here. Since I visited in Spring, the flowers were blooming and with the light rain, it all came together so picturesque. It’s a very calming spot and perfect for a stroll, or a pause for mindful meditation, or seated contemplation on the many benches. After all that’s done, you can walk on over to the nearby Central Park, if you’re still craving an extended personal date with nature.
