Art Gallery of Ontario
The best thing about the AGO is that it's free for ages 25 and younger! Unfortunately it is not cheap for memberships for ages 26+, and I probably wouldn't visit if it were paid.
There are some good exhibits, my favourite one has to be the model ships downstairs. I'm not a huge art fan but they do have temporarily exhibits such as KAWs. Overall it's a clean art gallery, well organized with coat check (free for prohibited items like bags). I recommend you buy tickets online to avoid the lineup. There is a gift shop and a Bistro inside. I wish it had longer hours on weekdays.

Scarborough Town Centre
Plenty of free parking. There are regularly new stores and restaurants, a good variety of budget and regular mall chains. Clean, spacious, and well decorated
Ding Tai Fung
I came here with in a group of 9 on Saturday for lunch. There was a 30 minute wait, so we walked around the nearby mall until they called us.
We were seated at a table set for 9, but it was very cramped, we bumper elbows and some of us could not get up without asking the neighboring table to move. There is a window where you can watch the chef's make the dumplings.
They have a large menu, and you just check off the items you want on a piece of paper. We tried a large variety of dishes, a few types of Xiao Long Bao, pan fried meat buns, hot and sour soup, red Bean pan fried pancake, sticky rice wrapped around pork floss and fried dough, Shanghai noodles, stir fried pea shoots, two types of stir fried rice cakes, and more.
Notable item is the red Bean pan fried pancake, I enjoyed that the most. Everything else was just ok. The stir fried rice cakes were rather bland, but maybe I'm just not used to that dish. I didn't like the flavour of the xlbs, compared to others I've had in Toronto. They were beautifully made, but mine didn't have much soup inside.
There is a 10% cash discount.
The washrooms are very small compared to the size of the restaurant.

Customizable poke bowl sizes, reasonable prices, lots of topping options.
For some reason the person behind the counter spoke really quiet so I couldn't hear. There is very limited seating inside, this is more of a takeout spot.
They are very generous with the sauce here so you may want to ask for it on the side. Overall not bad

Two Brothers Shawarma
Had some delicious shawarma here, ordered chicken and beef. Both were well seasoned, used mostly lean meat.
They don't give much garlic sauce or hummus, so you need to ask if you want more. Otherwise the portions are generous; price is ok for the portion.
The problem is that they kept burning food and the whole restaurant was super smokey and we were coughing a lot, this kept happening every 15 minutes.
Would come back if in the area.
